what is return of allotment?Is it necessary to file it annually?

Return of allotment means the registration of the the list of persons to whom the shares of the company have been alloted. Such return is to be furnished on Form No 2 with the ROC within 30 days of the allotment.

Yes, Mr. Ramesh Ahuja is right. But , it can be filed even after 30 days alongwith the payment of late fees.

Yes, the company has to file Annual return, irrespective of allotment of shares.
