can board meeting held next day after egm?

There is no restriction to hold the meeting on a day after EGM!

as per the provisions of Section 173 of the Companies Act , a Board meeting can be held by giving 7 days notice in advance to all the directors of the Company. However Board meeting can also be convened by giving shorter notice by the consent of majority of Directors or if Company has independent Director then decesion shall be ratified by independent Director and decision shall be circulated to majority of Directors.
