Company is not contrubuting to EPS

12 August 2023 I joined a company last year and my current basic is 29028 and my company is deducting 1800 for employee contribution to EPF but I just came to know that my company is contributing 550 only per month for employer contribution to EPF and not contributing to EPS. Is it allowed?
because as per my knowledge company should contribute minimum 1800 per month

Your employer should contribute 1800 per month to EPF.
