Is Companies Amendment Bill (2017) is applicable or it still require president approve?

Both the houses have approved and pending for the assent of the president of India,
hence not a law as on today.

President of India assented the bill on 3-1-2018 and it has become a law. Effective
date of each section will be announced by way of separate notification by MCA
unless specified in the amended section.
