10 June 2011 The buy back of shares is governed by Ss. 77A, 77AA and 77B of the Companies Act, 1956.
Which does not ban buy back of shares issued by a company which is a subsidiary Company. It prohibits the buy back of share by a Company through its subsidiary Company or an investment company
