How many no.of board meetings that a director can be escaped from?

For a period not exceeding 6 months. The number of meetings is immaterial.

As per my opinion read with Section-283(1)(g) a director can escape any number of board meeting after obtaining leave of absence from the board of directors.
Recording of this "grant of leave of absence to director" in the board minutes is necessary.
