I am having a housing loan for Rs. 5 lakhs and the house property is self occupied and I am owner of the property. for the purpose of IT, i am claiming interest on Housing loan and also principal. i want to include my wife(not a co owner) as co applicant for the loan taken, then only we both can enjoy the benefit of Rs.1.50 lakhs each.
