when husband gives cash gift to his wief and wief purchases some asset, and the income out of the asset is taxable or not?

Income of the spouse is clubed in the hand of husbund..

Income out of the asset is taxable in the hand of husband. But income out of the income that is invested is not taxable in the hands of husband
