15 June 2014 hi,can you please tell that ,if closing stock appears in trail balance then how does it effect opening stock,purchases ? i.e. how it appears in trail balace

16 June 2014 if closing stock in T/B then its means its show after adj. of opening stock and purchases.

16 June 2014 for getting closing stock a simple formula is there Opening stock + Purchases/inward - consumption/sale = closing.
if ur trail not showing opening stock, and showing only closing stock, you have to workout other two figures to conclude what was ur opening. or you can consider closing stock of previous period as opening for current period and work out sale/consumption to get purchases/inward.

18 June 2014 if closing stock is shown in trail balance ,then purchases is shown as adjusted i.e(net purchases -closing stock ) or shown as normal purchases ?
