16 July 2013 yes you are right but how ?? bez when I try tp pass JV then I doesn't seen opening stock.

21 July 2013 Step 1-> Manually you can create one ledger as opening stock and show that ledger opening balance as same as opening stock balance

Now you will get the difference in opening balances

Step 2->. Make the actual stock value as Zero

Step 3-> pass the entry crediting the opening stock ( Manually which you created) and debit Investment
