clearification regarding new C.A. Cource

06 October 2007 Dear Sir,

I was doing c.a. in 1999 & registered for same in c.a. institiute and complete C.A. articleship 2001. during articleship i have attempt 2 times for intermidiate exams but not succeed. during 2001 to till date i am doing practice as tax practioner. now i want to do C.A. again. can i avil any benift of articleship or prior registration or will do fresh registration.

10 October 2007 You will have to do fresh registration under the current scheme as your available 5 attempts have expired, in the sense 2 attempted and the remaining wasted as it was not attempted.
as regards to the credit for the articleship period already undergone you will do a good job to call the institutes regional head office and get it clarified.
