cleared PE I in 2004, How to move ahead for CA Exam??

17 March 2011 I had already entered into the CA course and cleared (Chartered Accountant) PE-1 in the year 2004. I am asking about that result of PE-1 is valid or not to move ahead for the course. Please reply so that I can start with CPT or if PE-1 result is valid to enter directly to IPCC??
