Clarification on final exam

12 April 2014 Hi everyone,

Recently a friend of mine shown me the eligibility to write final exam. I always thought that final exam can be written after the completion of two and half years but as per the Icai website it means I can write final after two years.I have cleared IPCC in May 2013 and started my articleship on 26th Aug 2013. When will be my first attempt May 2016 or Nov 2015??

please read the post clearly and carefully.

12 April 2014 And that post is very very old post which is posted by the ICAI at the time of changing of the CA scheme from PE-II to PCC with changing of syllabus, so it is not relevant now. So you are eligible to write CA Final exam after completion of 2.5 years of articleship training. i.e May 2016 is your eligible attempt.
