Clarification in ddt payment challan?

22 September 2014 Dear Sir,

ABC Co. declares dividend in the AGM held on 20th Sept, 2014, for the year ending 30th March, 2014.

Now Dividend Distribution Tax has to be deposited within 14 days from Declaration (i.e.,20th Sept).

Now my Question is regarding clarification of Assessment Year (A.Y.) to be filled in Challan 280.

Will the A.Y. Be

i) A.Y. 2014-15 (as the Dividend was declared out of the profit of F.Y. 2013-14).

But the problem arise here, is that, suppose we pay the DDT within 14 days (let say on 3rd Oct, 2014)and mentioned A.Y. 2014-15 in the Challan. Also the ITR-6 has be filed before due date (i.e,30th Sep), then how we can fill the DDT Challan details in ITR-6?

OR

II) A.Y. 2015-16 (as the Dividend and DDT was paid in FY 2014-15)

Please Clarify the above issue

Can you also please advise me, in which ITR-6 (i.e, for A.Y.2014-15 OR for A.Y.2015-16), shall I fill the DIVIDEND AND DDT details???
