claiming of exemption

hello sir/ madam,
I have cleared IPCC group-1 and doing articles in a CA firm, in may 2016 I gave group-2 attempt and got exemption in the advanced accounting but I didn't not mention the details of exemption in the exam application form for Nov 2016.
Now can I claim exemption ?? if not what is the process to rectify it.
plz provide the information.

The exemption is automatic....you will get it for Nov 2016 attempt. Write a separate request letter to ICAI, giving reference of your exam form.
