Hello All
I want to know that:-
I got completion certificate of property which I built for my residential purpose Jan 2019. Can I claim deduction of Rs200000/- u/s 24B for the A.Y 2019-20?.
Property is in my possession from 2014.
Pl advise.

Since you are the owner from January 2019 ,interest payable from January to March 2019 plus 3/4th of 1/5 th of the interest prior to January 2019 or Rs. 2,00,000/- which ever is less can be claimed under 24(b) in Assessment year 2019-20.
