17 April 2012 What is the exemption amount of Children education allowance and hostel allowance for non-government employees for F.Y.2012-13. And is thery is any age limit for children to avail this exemption.

Please clarify.

17 April 2012 There is no age limit and the limit of exemption is
Rs. 100 per month per child for education allowance
and Rs. 300 per month per child for hostel allowance.
This is available to the maximum of 2 children.
