1.What is meaning of "income derived from property held under trust"?
2.In what circumstances does trust need to file form 9A w.e.f AY 1617 ?
3.In what circumstances does trust need to file form 10?

08 August 2017 01. say a house property is owned by the trust and then the rent received out of such property, if any, would be the income from property held under trust.

I doubt that only income from house property is to be considered income derived from property held under trust

08 August 2017 your doubt is 100% correct. I thought you are understanding the meaning and hence i quoted one example.
See as you must be aware, property is of 2 types. Movable....Immovable
So to say income earned /derived from the property (movable and/or immovable) which is held under trust
