sir plz solved my query about tally erp .9 one item unit create in my tally wrong. when sir i m transfer it to kg. to pcs. than sir i dont do this. b coz sir it is create 1 year ago than sir plz tell me how can i change it to kh. to pices

Go to alter stock item and change to units as "pcs"

but sir when i alter stock item it cant be change. bcoz the reason of it is that this item create 1 year ago & sir many entry are wrongly entered in kg. so that sir when i alter stock item the cursor not go to unit symbol. plz what i do.
plz sir reply mw soon.sir noone function in tally erp.9 whose i can change its. unit.& sir my old entry which unit in kgs. r automatically are convert in pcs.

This can be done with the help of an Tally Expert. Please don’t try on live data. It may be harmful.
Method : Create the correct unit you want Export all the Inventory Item Transaction which you want to change to XML format -> Edit the XML File change the unit you want. Delete all the exported transaction in Tally-> Now import the new data. You will get the desired result.
