Hi all,
While making the TDS payment we have put wrong TAN no of deductor, now can we rectify the TAN no.

Contact your Jurisdictional TDS AO with a letter, requesting for correction of TAN in challan. You will be asked to submit an Indemnity letter for correction of TAN.

Sanjay Ji, do we have to give this Indemnity Bond in stamp paper or else. If yes how much stamp paper should be used for this purpose. Please provide additional details if any available in this regard.
