One of my friends had refund of Rs. 1500/-.
However, he changed his residence and the refund cheque was returned back.
Now what is the procedure to get the refund back?

Write request letter to CPC,Bangalore to resend the refund to your present address and a copy of letter file with the ITO of your circle.

There is no specific format of letter just write request of resend of the refund to your present address with the details of your pan no,date of filling of return and acknowledgment no. reasons to return back of the refunded cheque. ITO of your circle means on which Income tax office your area has to come. I.e Your area assessing officer. I.e. at which you are filled return
