Change of regd email id in incometax website

sir,
I want to reset the login password to another mail I.d. different than regd. with I
t. deptt. for efiling of itr. pl. let me know the procedure. I have sent mail to validate@in comet a India.gov.in with pan details. but I recd mail stating the p.word would be shared with the regd I.d. only. pl tell me the procedure.

For Changing the Password 3 options are available
1.Enter Secret question answer
2.Enter E-filing Acknowledgement No.and Bank Account No.as mentioned in E-Return of AY11-12
3.Enter PAN details.
As you dont remember the registered email id where the new password is send using the 3rd option, but you can use the 1st option for changing the password. Just by providing the secret question the one you have given while registering you can change password immediately.
