Change of Head of payment

Is there any provision to change of head from interest to late fees after the payment by mistake. Please clarify regarding this.

Where do you want to change ? in any ERP software ?
You can modify the entry before posting . Also you can pass the reversal entry and pass the correct entry.
Journal voucher also can be used to rectify.

No way...
We can't adjust Cash payments to any other heads.
If you paid wrongly to interest head you can claim it as refund. But, you ll pay again under "Late Fee" then only you can offset the liabilities in return...
