Hello friends,
one of our client has shifted his place of residence from one building to another building in the same locality.
what should be done to update new address in the income tax for correspondence.
should he fill PAN correction form or just submit an application to the assessing officer ?

you have to file PAN correction form for update database to income tax.

Address in the PAN data base has to be necessarily changed for which the procedure as said by Mr Hardik... may be followed.
