12 February 2010 After the change of the name of the company, Do we need to disclose old name any where? if yes, the time period?

12 February 2010 Under Companies Act, 1956 there is no provision for stating the old name of the Company.

However, as per Listing Agreement, Company needs to state its old name along with new name in every document & Correspondence for period of one year.

Hence, as a good corporate practice, it is advisable to state old name atleast for a year.
