Hi, i am a registered dealer of central excise having a propreitorship concern, now i want to bring in partners for my concern, can somebody guide me with the process for the same at excise dept...Thnx

1) file all pending returns
2) register as new assessee under NEW PAN
3) close old registration under OLD PAN
you have to submit a letter stating the situation and related documents of change from prop to partnership.
