Change in bank a/c no

16 August 2013 Hey, experts can anybody tell me how to update the ITR if the bank a/c is to be changed and the ITR is already filled so can anybody tell me what is the procedure (the bank a/c no entered in the ITR is different and now i wish to change it)

16 August 2013 There is no need to change the bank a/c no if the account is change.

However, If you have refund due, do not close until you received the refund.

16 August 2013 what if the assessee has already closed the a/c

16 August 2013 You can request for "refund re-issue" through online

1)login to your account in efiling website

2)there Go to "Myaccount" and go for "Refund re-issue request"

3)there you need to provide details of recent intimation received

4)and provide bank account number correctly you will get refund after due time

16 August 2013 the assessee wants to close down the bank a/c no mentioned in the this year ITR and in all previous ITR he wants to change the bank a/c in all the previous ITR also.......

19 August 2013 There is no need to update the new bank account no in case of old one is closed.

If he wants to change, follow the instruction provided by expert as above
