cfa(US) or icwai

08 January 2012 Job wise cfa(usa) are preferred in mnc's and big4 audit firms, but whereas cwa's are preffered in indian companies, but cfa has an little edge.

08 January 2012 Undoubtedly CWA has far better scope in India, both in terms of Job and Practice.
Similarly if you go abroad you will have better scope if you have done CFA.

Go for postal or oral coaching? I did not get whether computer training is to be done after filling the registration form or before filling it?

09 January 2012 CWA is better than CFA as far as job/employbality in India concern. I am saying this not only because that i am member of ICWAI but you can check it urself too with the help of any job potal, in which u would find requriement for finance job is CA/CWA and u would really found CFA as eligibility in india job market.
Yes, if one wanna job abroad then surelly CFA will be better.

09 January 2012 Thank you so much for the valuable information.Should i go for postal or oral coaching?the problem with oral coaching is that i couldn't find any authorized coaching centers in Delhi.Would it be advisable to go for private institute coaching?

09 January 2012 Postal or oral depend upon ur choice. In Postal u have to solve ET at ur home and in Oral ur ET will be clear at chapter itself.
NIRC chapter of ICWAI Lodhi road is authosised for Oral choching, there must be some other center too, u can got full information at NIRC Chapter

09 January 2012 Its better you join postal, as you can take coaching for only required subjects in delhi.
