From march 2015 onwards excise duty increased from 12.36 to 12.5, means from march onwards duty only chargable, but some where cess portion still charged there's invoices so I have one doubt who are all can charge cess and who are all don't charge cess and department issued any circular regarding this issue if issued please let me the circular no and any documents regarding this issue please,....

14 May 2015 No cess on excise when the invoice is issued after 01.02.2015 from factory.

Cess on service tax is still payable.

15 May 2015 PLEASE REFER nOTIFICATION nO.14/2015 and 15/2015 -c.eX.DATED 1ST mARCH ,2015,WHICH IS SELF EXPLANATORY.
It exempts all goods falling within the first schedukle to the CETA,1985 from whole of the ed.cess levaiable under section 93 of the Finance Act and secondary & higher ed.cess under section 138 of the said Finance Act. CA.sagar mal pareek 9824346469 smpfca@gmail.com
