06 May 2014 In ROC new forms as per companies act 2013, certificate of practice number is a mandatory field. what is the certificate of practice number mean? Is firm registration number can be used as certificate of practice number ? or is membership no of CA can be used as a certificate of practice number ?
Pl help me with your valuable answers and guidlines.

06 May 2014 COP No. is different from Membership No. When a CA applies for COP then he is allotted with a COP no. U must use the COP no. of the professional who is signing the form(digitally).

07 May 2014 Sandeep sir,
Chartered accountant will not be allotted any kind of COP number while issuing a COP. Can CA use his Firm registration number as COP number for this purpose? if so, pl explain about firm having more than 1 partner i.e.,if firm is having 2 partners, both can use their firm registration number as their COP number ???? If FRN is not COP number, what will be the COP number & how it can be found/ known?

07 May 2014 firm Registration no will b used in the FRN space, and u can use membership no. in place of COP.
