Cenvat credit of swachh bharat cess

09 November 2015 As we all know that Govt. is imposing Swachh Bharat Cess on all taxable services from 15.11.2015.
My question in this regard is that whether an asessee can claim credit of service tax for payment of "Swachh Bharat Cess" and whether input of "Input of Swachh Bharat Cess" can be used for its payment.

09 November 2015 Credit of service tax can be used for payment of swachh bharay cess but not vice versa.

10 November 2015 The CENVAT rules are to be updated to claim credit of SBC paid against SBC or against ST. Untill then you cannot claim SBC as input
