25 August 2012 Whether Cenvat Credit of P/Y can be booked in the Curent F/Y and what should be date of availment of the same. as we were not booking the cenvat credit in P/Y and now we started to avail it. plz guide

26 August 2012 nope, the date from which you opted to avail cenvat and pay duty from zero is the effective date and all credit before that date is not admissible.
