Dear sir,
Iam saji varghese working as accounts assistant for a clearing and forwading agent firm.
Sir,
we have two firms one in kerala(cfa and proprietory firm) these two has seperate excise registrations.
as the above we have also two firms in chennai.
Sir,
Is it mandatory to have service tax reg:for each coimbatore and kerala; to issue cenvat invoices to customers? would you please give me a guidline.

depending on billing pattern you use to issue to customers you have to get registered for every point of billing,
alternate you can opt for a centralized billing system with centralized service tax registration which will cover all the branches,
a centralized billing and registration is more favorite as the assesee is eligible for input credit of all branches.
