28 January 2011 Dear Sir,

I have purchased Raw Material from the following Channels. I am registered under Excise, my question is can I take the Cenvat Credit.

Order Placed to - Rohit Rubber (Dealer)(having Excise No.)
Who Purchased from - Nocil Limited Kalyan (Supplier) (having Excise No.)
Original Manufacturer - Nocil Limited Belapur (having Excise No.)
[Manufacture & Supplier - they are having separate Excise No.]
i.e.
Manufacture - Supplier - Dealer - Then Last We.

Can I take the Credit for that agaisnt the Exchange Control copy.

28 January 2011 Yes, you can take the credit provided you have received Excise invoices from your dealer who registered under Excise (normally called as 1st stage Dealer).
