10 September 2011 If cash receipt issue at remote location and cash book maint at main location, can be account cash receipt in cash book after issue of receipt date or in same day.

26 September 2011 well, if the cash receipt book is of the entity itself, the entry is required to be made on the date itself whereas in the case of brach receipts, it may accounted at a later date.
u can also account the recipts of the cash at a later date mentioning as receipts of particular period accounted on a particular date mentioning the Recipt no and their period in narration in the brief
