Can a salaried INDIVIDUAL pay to his driver monthly salary of Rs 25000 in CASH. ?

Also such individual can make GIFT in CASH 25000 or say upto Rs 2 lakh to his relative ?

31 July 2017 Any amount above Rs.10000 cannot be paid in cash. The salary of driver can be transferred to his bank account. Capital asset in any form more than Rs.250000 cannot be given in cash.

Thnx fr ur response.

I think restriction of Rs 10K u/s sec 40A (3) is talking abt disallowing expense fm BUSINES & PROFESSION.

I m asking abt paying salary to driver in cash by a salaried individual who doesn't claim deduction.(If there is restriction, pls quote section no.)
