09 August 2011 A Case law generally has its importance
in the context of facts and circumstances
of the case particular as well as the law
prevailing at the relevant time.

Case laws of the Supreme Court generally do not change stance immediately and are long lasting. Some times position of High Court case lawa changes in case the matter is further referred to the SC.

In a professional course knowledge updation has its own importance and it only rewards in the tough situations like Exam.

You have to "Save" all the earlier case laws and to "Add in a new folder" the new case laws in spite of " Replacing" the old.

Old case laws will also be helpful in analysing critically the comparable issues.
Such Analysis will reward you directly in that question and indirectly in all answers of the paper.
