I want to know the scope of Transfer Pricing. I mean can we start the practice with a background of Transfer Pricing or DT/IDT will be a better choice?

13 August 2014 you need to have expert knowledge of sec 92 and rule 10A, 10B etc as applicable anf must be thorough in case of scrutiny assessment

13 August 2014 see, the problem with a transfer pricing practice is that it largely applies to corporates above a certain level of turnover/income. So unless you have a very solid backing in terms of past experience or networking skills, getting transfer pricing assignment right away is not easy. The right approach should be to start with a DT practice with an eye on moving to transfer pricing in future.
