Carr in two different category

(1) If a Comapny falls under two categories of Cost Accounting record rules, do we need to prepare as per both ?
[Ex. CARR for Chemical & Bulk Drugs)

(2) If out of these two types of products one is Main product and another one is By Product. Then also we are required to prepare records as per both ?
