Career in finance analytics for a ca

11 March 2015 Iam a Fresher Chartered Accountant(Nov 14 passed out), please suggest me in terms of good package - is it wise to do a job as a financial analyst or I should go to typical accounting and auditing.

As a fresher, in Analytics I am not getting a package as high as in the field of accounts/audit. But after experience in Analytics is there are chances of a good salary.

Ps. It is simply a comparision between salary of a CA in field of accounts/audit and Finance Analytics. As far as interest is concerned I am interested in both.

12 March 2015 u r making it only a comparison with Salary dear...

I think its quite unfair.... i wil suggest forget the salary part for starting years as a fresher.. and go for what makes u more satisfied

12 March 2015 Yes I agree that there are many other factors which are to be considered, but I am well aware about them, what I do not know is salary and growth, hence seeking expert help. If in analytics I have to work with a low package, that's fine, but after experience is there are chances for a better pay package (better than average experienced accountant/auditor).

you cant project future things...some analyst got huge package some got low and vice versa in accounting audiiting also.. i had sen people getting crores in both fieds...

so whatever u choose.. u need to work hard in that... b a true expert of that particular field... and then in future u wil get really what u deserves.... may b best than others...
