18 August 2013 Hello members,

I am Engineering graduate and working in a IT Company from last 2.5 Years. I don't want to do this job further due to lack of interest in the work i am doing and no learning there. My inclination is towards finance,Accounts related career options. Please suggest what are the options i can go for and how to do this. I will be highly obliged to you.

19 August 2013 You have two options - both require further studies. You need to evaluate your mid term goals to choose the correct path.

Apply to a good (tier 1 or 2) MBA institute for an MBA finance. You would have to work quickly to make sure you get admission next year. So you will be able to commence work again in 2016.

Alternate - and this is only if you are really keen on accounts - you can register with the CA institute and become a CA. The earliest you can do the IPCC would be next May (gives you enough time to prepare for the exams).
