to become a director or an md in a company which career options should i choose.

It is not a carrier for becoming a director or MD. It is an designation/post defined by the Companies Act, to manage the company.
You can not make carrier on it because it is not a degree course.

One would have two options to become a Director etc,
Firstly, a own start-up where you could hold any designation you wish to flaunt.
Secondly, an IIT or another top notch college grad could become Director (technical or similar) in a leading organization.
A person grows in to the designations mentioned by you and it's not possible overnight or in a short period.
As you are a CA, you should target the position of Director(finance) or CFO or VP (finance). Goodluck!
