My dear CA club friends , I need your advice regarding how I go ahead with my career, I did my post graduate in arts and after that I decided to do CA . Accordingly I joined CA, cleared CPT, complete my articleship and now I am working in a private limited company with a monthly salary of Rs.20000/-. I earned the following experience during my articleship and by working in my present organization:- 1) Accounting: maintenance of day to day accounts, BRS, preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss account for proprietorship, partnership business, and for company as per revised schedule. 2) Preparation of cash flow/fund flow statement and financial analysis (ratio analysis) of balance sheet and profit and loss account. 3) Payroll maintenance including PF/ESI compliance. 4) VAT compliance: calculation, monthly and yearly return, preparation of VAT audit report etc. 5) Service tax compliance. 6) Debtors/creditors management. 7) Preparation of IT files for individual. 8) Stock maintenance in tally.
At the time of joining CA my plan was for practice; but as till today I am not able to complete CA, now I am very confused. I do not have a degree in commerce and hence a reputed company may not interest to recruit me; on the other hand I am not in a position to change my line again and I am not interested to do so. So the main point is that my situation is “NA GAHR KA NA GHAT KA”. Without a degree good employer do not recruit me and I personally can not start a consultancy. So what can I do please suggest, please?
