Capitalization of led lights

If in any project, we need to transform the existing light facility in to modern LED lights, can the cost incurred on installation of LED lights can be capitazlized in the books of account.

i believe the amount involved is substantial. the lights last for longer duration. the benefit is also endured over a period of time. So why not. go ahead and capitalize..
