23 May 2014 My Client had got a plot of land in municipal area on partition of family in 1989 and sold in 2014 for rs 20 lac however cost price in not known as well as fair market value as on 1.1.1981 are nor available, what is the remedy for calculation of capital gain tax

please guide for the same
