Assesee is selling a house property constructed in the year 1995. He doesnt have the cost of construction details. How to arrive at the indexed cost of acquistion?

Now the base year is 14.2001. Thus please ask the assessee to get the valuation done for this property as on 1.4.2001 from an approved valuer. Then do the indexation on this value.
