House is sold, how to bifurcate sales consideration so that capital gain between land and building. land is long term capital asset, while building is short term

LTCG and STCG has to be separately worked out. In the absence of bifurcation in the deeds, seek valuation from approved valuers .

Seek value of land from Registration deed & value of building is taken from bill from contractor or payment made for making such building. In absensce of all take valuation report from approved valuer.
