can any body tell me the entries & procedure for claming cenvat/modvat

cenvat/modvat credit is available to manufacturer who register his unit under exiece, and modvat credit is available only if he produce exciseble goods and crdit is avalble. input credit is avalible against ouput credit only 50%
credit is available for capital goods in the first year and the credit is available only related credit net amount is payble to the govt
