Subject: Cancellation of PAN CARD

Sir recently we have setup our own partnership firm in the name of Reliable Share Broking Services and got the PAN CARD for the same, but there is some legal obligation from the working company saying that we are not suppose to own any kind of business. So we decided to operate the same in the name of Reliable Share Broking Services not as a firm as a individual. Now my problem is how to cancel the PAN CARD we got in the firm's name. Please let me know the procedure how to cancel the PAN CARD.

09 September 2011 Put a dissolution deed and inform your jurisdictional income-tax officer about the dissolution in formal letter by enclosing your dissolution deed.
Get a new PAN in the individual name.
