Can vat charge on the rent of computer ?

A private limited company has taken computers & laptop on rent . Is vat charged by the owner of the computer in the invoice for charging monthly rent ?

in case the computers are transferred to company at the end of lease period then it is deemed sale and vat shall be levied.
